Athletic Hotel Apartments
The Athletic Hotel Apartments is located in the desirable Vallamont neighborhood of Williamsport. Built as a hotel in 1898, this property was operated as the Athletic Hotel for seventeen years. In 1915 the building was converted into apartments. After decades of neglect, the property was in near ruin when it was acquired by Penn Real Estate in 2012.
A comprehensive restoration has returned the exterior, including the magnifient wrap around porch, to the original appealing design of 1898. Interior re-construction has produced five comfortable apartments ranging in size from efficiency apartments to a spacious three bedroom apartment with two full bathrooms. Wherever possible historic interior features, such as original hardwood floors, were retained and refurbished.
The Athletic Hotel Apartments is conveniently located within short walking distance of Brandon Park, downtown, and the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
